Our engineering client needed a lockup to help announce their new ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program). The final concept would represent a new beginning, but also inspire their internal audience to work hard toward a common goal, which would not be achieved until the company would go public several years down the line.
Option 1 reconfigured the initials of ESO into the shape of a key, representing the new doors which will be opened if the eventual IPO achieved the value hoped for. The top of the key also represents expanded equality across all job functions and titles.
Option 2 configures the initials of ESOP into a pathway, somewhat labyrinthine, representing the twists and turns of the road ahead but also the eventual exit, representing the freedom which may be achieved as a result of everyone's investment of hard work. Multiple elements work together toward a common goal.
